Today I have a long snowy drive ahead of me, I’ve packed up the bags, and I’ve checked the roads to see if there are any closures. We have all sorts of emergency things in our car, blankets, water, back up batteries, and I’ll have to remember to pack a candle as well, and make sure we have plenty of gas. This is what it’s like to drive in snow squall country. Yesterday, I carved out some time to hang out with creative online witchy types. I belong to the Moonshine Group, run by Effy Bird Wild. It was really good for me to take a break from preparation and sit down and paint. I had been going through a dry period, and this is the most fun I’ve had with my art for a while. I am going to pack up my art stuff for this week ahead, creative therapy for me. I pulled the Devil tarot card, (reversed) and that means that I’m about to free myself from fears and insecurity. I’m invited to practice detachment from the things I can’t control.
ASTROLOGY: The Moon continues it’s passage through Pisces today, it conjuncts with Saturn, and sextiles with Mercury that’s just entered into Capricorn. It will also sextile with Mars in Capricorn. Emotionally we are embraced by the nurturing waters of Pisces, we are kinder, more compassionate and creative. Supporting that emotional flow is a solid foundation of practicality, we’ll be organized, determined and focused. This is an excellent time to focus on creative projects.
