“A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” — Oscar Wilde (Leo Moon)
clarity:
Correction Andrew has covid so I’m not going here, but in spirit I’ll be there and if you’re in town you might want to check it out.
I’m heading to this art show today. I know two of the artists featured, but more than that, it feels important for me—as an artist—to show up and be present. These events are both nourishment for my career and a rich source of inspiration. It’s a chance to explore, engage with my local art scene, and be in conversation with the creative energy of my community.
I’m planning to pick a fun, artsy outfit that feels expressive, and I’m staying open to whatever conversations or connections may arise. I’ll do my best to support the artists—whether through authentic, kind words, purchasing their work, and signing the guest book.
I’ve always been fascinated by sculpture, and I’m really looking forward to soaking in the powerful forms and textures on display. The Deep Water Gallery is such a gem—small but full of bold, dramatic energy. It’s the perfect space to let art speak loudly.
Magically speaking, I’ll slip a piece of rose quartz in my pocket as a gentle reminder: I’m here to connect—not compare.
One boundary I’m holding tonight: I’m not there for the food. I’m almost at 90 days of abstinence—one day at a time—and I want to honor that commitment with care.
Magic spell
Go to a place of wild water, lit by moonlight. If you’re a confident swimmer, take a moonlit swim—but always bring someone with you for safety. If swimming isn't an option, simply stand at the water’s edge and let the waves kiss your feet.
Begin singing a song that holds deep personal power. Let it rise from your chest like a calling. Place your hands into the water and pour it gently over your head. If you have a seashell, hold it as you sing—it carries the voice of the sea.
Focus on what you want to draw toward you. As you sing, imagine that energy rippling out across the water. The sirens will hear. And they will answer.
Chant for the spell: I sing to the water, I shine in the dark, I heal with courage, and I love with fire. (if you are creative enough, turn this into a song).
Astrology Transits
Mercury in Leo trine Neptune in Aries
Mercury, the glittering planet of speech, thought, and movement, links harmoniously with Neptune—the dream-weaver of the cosmos. This trine brings ease to our creative expression, especially bold, imaginative projects. It’s the perfect time to write, perform, or enchant with words. If you’re a thespian, this is your cosmic cue to take center stage. If not, attend a show, read poetry aloud, or dive into an artistic dream. Magic lives in your voice today.
Leo Moon square Venus in Taurus
Venus in Taurus wants cozy indulgence, to rest in silk and roses—but the Leo Moon stirs a hunger for more. You may feel pulled between comfort and connection, between rest and revelry. If an invitation arrives, consider saying yes—even if you’re not in the mood to be the star. You can still sit among the queens, and revel in their fire.
Leo Moon trine Chiron in Aries
This beautiful heart-healing trine reminds us that courage begins with vulnerability. If your self-worth feels shaky, let this energy guide you gently back to center. There is strength in recognizing your shadow without shame. You don’t have to react from your wounds—you can respond from your wisdom. The fire of Leo offers bravery, and Chiron in Aries shows how healing begins with self-acceptance.
