I play DnD with a group over Discord, and it’s a fun thing to do on a Friday evening. We are going through the Dungeon of the Mad Mage (which is huge) and we’ve been crawling through this dungeon since the pandemic shutdowns.
I’m itching to play a new game on top of this one, a in-person game where everyone gathers around a table and we roll dice, eat snacks, and really get into our characters. I have this cool idea for a cleric where I’m a bible thumping worshiper of some strange pagan god, (I was thinking Cuthulu, but as far as I know they are not a god in the DnD system) and when I cast my healing spells I say things like “YOU ARE HEEEEEELD!”
I know this makes me a total geek. I’m ok with that.
Today, I’m gathering with my sketch group, at the Tom Art Gallery in town, while my husband goes off to play DnD with some newbies in a one hour game, at the game store. What are you doing today? Do you play DnD? And if so what’s your all time favourite character?
Song that is stuck in my head:
Weird ADHD things. Maybe the cleric also need to be a rouge…that would be cool!
Astrology:
Moon in Virgo oppose Saturn
Since the Moon governs our emotional wellbeing, and she’s in the sign of Virgo, it’s a good time to focus on self care and emotional healing. Saturn in Pisces is the spiritual taskmaster that expects us to work hard on letting go of control and jumping into the flow, even though the flow could be a crazy whitewater river. We may have high expectations of what we need to accomplish today. It’s ok to set down some boundaries for yourself, are you over doing things? Do you need a rest? It’s ok to rest.
Moon in Virgo trines Venus in Capricorn
Venus is the planet of love and creativity, and in the sign of Capricorn she vibes with in a loyal and grounded manner. A trine is a harmonious aspect, the Moon and Venus work together to mix peaceful tranquility with esthetic beauty. When we are responsible, we feel emotionally fulfilled. Helping others helps us feel better about ourselves. As an artist, it’s time to make something that helps you feel grounded and emotionally supported.
Magic Spell:
In Slavic magic every house has a house spirit, called a Domovnik. A great way to get to know your house spirit is to have a little altar for them, light a candle (maybe a battery operated one for safety), and leave little offerings. Thank them for protecting your home. Make them feel very cozy and safe. Talk to them when you need to make repairs to your house, or if you’re feeling unsafe. The more you interact with this little spirit, the stronger it gets.
